SINCERITY GIVES YOU CREDIBILTY

Sincerity helps people to buy into a leader and his or her visions, ideas and dreams. Insincere leaders lose their credibilities and followers. Their ideas are sooner or later rubbished before as well as being taken for granted. Without any modicum of doubt, sincerity makes your followers activate confidence in you and follow you sincerely without any string attached.

John C. Maxwell (2009), asserted that the best leaders ask realistic questions before casting vision. They ask themselves things like..

1. Is it possible? 
2. Does this decision include everyone? 
3. Have I identified and articulated the areas that will make that dreams difficult to achieve?

Maxwell further posited that being real gives you credibility.
Unfortunately, many leaders today take their followers for granted and also ended being taken for granted. Always remember that no matter how best you are in driving, you cannot drive two masters to different destinations at a time. You need a cheque that contains sincerity in order to retain your credibility- remember credibility is easy to lose than to build.

The popular saying that “the truth will set you free" is a medicine that will make followers stand firm with their followers at anytime of trouble. Hence,  as a leader you need to be sincere to get comfortable.
No matter how brilliant you are,  no matter how strong your ideas,  no matter your rhetorics power if you are have lost the key of sincerity, the ingredients of your personality will be rubbished before you.
No doubt, sincerity is the strong will lacking in most Nigerian leader (young and old).
